A busy day before half term

We wanted to share a selection of some of our fantastic interpretations of the image of the week Fire at Full Moon by Paul Klee. Some children chose to finish off their sketches during independent learning time. This was just a short activity to start the day and as you can see the outcomes are amazing!!!

For the last day of our history of computing week we looked at the old arcade game pacman. Josh told us the orange ghost is called Clyde! We were were looking at making the pacman game and using mathematical language to navigate around our pacman maze. We used the words left, right, up down, forward, backwards, full turn, half turn, quarter turn, clockwise and anti clockwise. we thought this could be a good game outside to pretend to be robots!

Here are some of our pacman mazes that we made. Can you get pacman to the power pills, but watch out for the ghosts!

In the afternoon Bobby gave us his ‘good to be me’ presentation. We learnt a lot more about Bobby, his family and his interests and that he is a James Bond fan!

Have a very happy, safe and restful half term!

Love from Ruth and Tracey
